Unavailable Medications

At Storey Marketing, we continually develop valuable new features to attract website visitors and convert them to your customers! Unavailable or discontinued medications present a significant opportunity for you to help your patients as well as generate new scripts for compounded medications. Let your practitioners and patients know how your compounding pharmacy can help!

We provide an RSS feed of “Unavailable Medications” that is regularly updated and will seamlessly integrate with your website, and can be indexed by search engines.

The list of unavailable medications will be accessed via an appropriately titled button which is added to your website. The list of unavailable meds will be divided into 3 sections: Current Shortages (acute situations), Discontinued Meds, and Unavailable Sterile Preparations (optional, no additional fee, but can be eliminated from your RSS feed if you do not compound sterile preparations).

The “Unavailable Medications” feature will now be included in all websites designed by Storey Marketing, as part of our compounding content.

It’s EASY and ECONOMICAL to add “Unavailable Medications” to your website:

  1. If you have previously purchased our hosted content, the “Unavailable Medications” feature is FREE! If Storey Marketing designed your website and you host with Storey Marketing or netStride, the fee is $50 to add the new button “Unavailable Medications” to your site. Future updates are included in your annual hosted content management fee.
  2. If you have not previously purchased a website or hosted compounding content from Storey Marketing, for $175, we will provide the files and instructions for your designer to add the RSS feed to your website, and there is an annual fee of $49 for updates after the first 6 months. Or, you can purchase Storey Marketing’s 15 sections of continuously updated hosted compounding content, which now includes Unavailable Medications, for $1799, and the updates will be included in the $399 annual hosted content management fee.

To order, call Storey Marketing at 800-270-8878 or email info@storeymarketing.com.

If your website was designed by Storey Marketing and is hosted by netStride or Storey Marketing, we need to know:

  1. If you would like the menu item titled “Unavailable Medications” or if you prefer another name.
  2. Where you would like us to add the button.
  3. If you compound sterile preparations.

If you are purchasing the Unavailable Medications RSS feed for inclusion on a new or existing site created by another company, and hosted elsewhere:

  1. We need to know the domain name to which the feature will be added (ie, www.____.com).
  2. You will need to verify that your host’s server can support PHP5 files.
